12 illustrators (already experienced in drawing at the beginning and hand-picked) are currently undergoing an intense specialisation in storyboarding, as part of a training course organised in partnership by the Technifutur skills centre and the Waooh! animation studio. (which has worked on films such as The Suicide Shop and A Rigged World.

These training courses are also part of the ACA (Accompagnement des Compétences Audiovisuelles), a platform dedicated to the sector and created by Technifutur and Wallimage Entreprises.

These 12 apostles will complete their course on March 13, before putting their skills to the test in a 6-week internship (interested?).(intéressé?).

To do so, they have benefited from courses given by several renowned professionals, such as Daniel DUBUIS (Chief Board of the Sammy for example, whose storyboards were produced by Waooh!), Pierre NEIRA (well-known Belgian film and television storyboarder) or Guionne LEROY (perhaps the most famous Belgian presenter outside Belgium).

In short, a great initiative that creates a pool of professionals for this decisive production stage.

Indeed, it is at the storyboard stage that the script is transformed into a staging.

And a rigorous storyboard is probably the best tool for all the subsequent stages of production.
